Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s upcoming mythological epic ‘Shaakunthalam’ has entered its post-production phase as the makers released a video to hint at the film’s progress.
“#Shaakuntalam Post-production work in progress,” Gunaa Team Works wrote on their social media. The creators also came up with a hashtag #Mythology for Millennials, which indicates the greatness the team has to showcase “Shaakunthalam.”

The video provides a glimpse into the creators’ professional lives as they actively plan upcoming events related to “Shaakunthalam.”
The pan-Indian mythological film, directed by maverick filmmaker Gunasekhar, has Samantha playing a prominent role, while Allu Arjun’s daughter, Allu Arha, is set to appear as Prince Bharata.
Produced by Neelima Guna, the mythological film features advanced VFX technology. The creators are keen to wrap up post-production formalities soon.
Malayalam actor Dev Mohan plays Dushyant in this film, while veteran Telugu actor Mohan Babu will be seen as Durvasa.
“Shaakunthalam” marks Samantha’s mythological debut. The film also marks Allu Arha’s entry into cinema. It will soon be released in theaters.
