Video streaming company Netflix will set up its world’s first live post-production facility in Mumbai, the company said.
“We are delighted to share that Mumbai will be home to Netflix’s first full-service, full-service post-production facility in the world,” the company said in an official statement.
The new facility will be fully operational by June 2022. It will have 40 offline editing rooms designed as a âflexible and collaborativeâ environment for showrunners, directors, editors and sound designers.
âWith innovation and collaboration as the primary focus, the facility will pioneer advanced media management workflows that will enable a seamless partnership with India’s post-production community,â the company said.
