BUFFALO, NY – The #17/18 Arkansas Razorbacks (fourth seed) will face the Vermont Catamounts (13th seed) in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. Tipoff is set for 8:20 p.m. (CT) and the match will be televised on TNT.
Arkansas earned a No. 4 seed in the Western Region after finishing fourth in the SEC regular season and reaching the SEC Tournament Semifinals. Vermont was the America East (17-1) regular season and tournament champion. Both teams finished the season on a high as the Razorbacks have won 15 of their last 18 games – including eight wins over NCAA QUAD 1 teams – while the Catamounts have won 22 of their last 23 games.
- This will be the first meeting between Arkansas and Vermont. However, Coach Musselman is 1-0 against the Catamounts as his Nevada team beat Vermont in the 2016 CBI semi-finals.
