The team led by Berenice Vincent and Laure Parleani will notably launch the pre-sales of four new films, all in post-production. The first work to land in their window (of which they will project the first images) is The woodcutter’s storywhich is the first feature film proposed by the Finnish screenwriter Mikko Myllylahti (a project which won the Critics’ Week Next Step Prize in 2019 and was selected for the Atelier de la Cinéfondation de Cannes the same year – read our news) and is an Aamu Film Company production involving the Dutch company Keplerfilm, Danish Beofilm and German Achtung Panda!.

Another feature debut in the line-up, courtesy of an actress this time – Italian talent Jasmine Trinca – East Marcel! whose cast includes Alba Rohrwacher, Mayane Conti and Giovanna Ralli, which tells a story based on a mother-daughter relationship. This film is produced by Cinema Undici in co-production with RAI Cinema and Totem Atelier.

Totem will also officially launch the pre-sales of two other first feature films: Franco-Moroccan production Oum by Sofia Alaoui (items) and Dead girls dancing by Germany Anna Roller (read our interview in Karlovy Vary, on the occasion of the Future Frames program of the European Film Promotion), produced by Kalekone Film and which sees three high school students embark on an Italian road trip which takes an unexpected turn…

Four other titles steal attention from the agent’s post-production film slate: Saturn Skittles by the French director Patricia Mazuy (item), Explosions in the heart by Norway Yenni Lee (see our video interview), Ordinary chess by the Romanian-Hungarian director Cristina Grosan (news) and tiger by Romania Andrei Tanase (news).

Added to these offerings are two additional films that have just been unveiled in Gothenburg and are set to screen at the EFM online – Maya NiloLaura by Sweden Lovisa Siren and Miss Viborg [+see also:
