DGPT announces its 2022 post-production media plan

February 22, 2022: The Disc Golf Pro Tour is pleased to announce its post-production media plans for the 2022 season. JomezPro has signed a two-year agreement to secure post-production coverage rights from the MPO Lead Card for the 2022 DGPT seasons. and 2023. GK Pro has agreed to a one-year deal for the rights to cover the main FPO card, and Gatekeeper Media will produce the Chase MPO card cover for the 2022 and 2023 DGPT seasons. Additionally, DGPT will work with GK Pro and Central Coast Disc Golf for providing post-produced coverage of Silver Series events on the DGPT YouTube channel.

While this constitutes the current season-long partnerships, more post-production will provide additional coverage throughout the season. FPO Chase Card coverage will be added where possible and is planned for all PDGA majors

The agreement with JomezPro is revolutionary for disc golf media. In addition to covering the MPO main cards for all DGPT Elite Series events for 2022 and 2023, they will also cover three PDGA majors; the PDGA World Professional Disc Golf Championships, the United States Women’s Disc Golf Championship and the Champions Cup. The historic two-year deal will see JomezPro purchase the rights to post-production coverage of the main MPO card of the events for $500,000.

GK Pro and Gatekeeper will also provide additional coverage for PDGA Majors. Gatekeeper will provide Chase Card coverage to the PDGA Pro World Championship and Champions Cup, while GK Pro will also provide FPO Lead Card coverage to both, as well as additional post-production coverage to the USWDGC.

The 2022 Disc Golf Pro Tour regular season kicks off this Thursday, February 24 with the Las Vegas Challenge. Post-production coverage will be available on each of the media team’s YouTube channels above.
