Qlik® announced that Acron Group has turned to Qlik to support its comprehensive digital transformation program. Qlik will support Acron’s IT infrastructure team to help the entire organization improve efficiency and reduce costs through the use of data.

Acron has completed the first step of implementing its Business Intelligence (BI) solution as part of its digital transformation program. Qlik meaning® The data analysis platform brings together data from all of the Group’s key production systems and acts as an important source of information for real-time decision making. Acron Group uses Qlik to analyze data on warehouses, finance, purchasing, production defects, key resource management, and IT.

“At the start of the project, we focused on providing business intelligence as a service. Now every department has proactive employees who use Qlik’s analytics reports and tailor them to their needs. The departments that piloted the program set an example for other Group departments in terms of BI integration and the involvement of new employees and functions in analytics. We now have a pool of new analytics initiatives that Group employees have developed on their own, ”said Denis Guzanov, CIO of Acron. “For example, the digital power control panel was developed by the Business Process Planning and Organization team, which is not part of the IT department. To make this work, the team worked with IT and operations departments to collect the necessary data. “

One of the milestones for Acron Group using Qlik was the implementation of the digital power control panel at one of the group’s facilities in Veliky Novgorod. The facility has more than 400 sensors collecting data on energy consumption, which was previously done with a delay. With the implementation of data analytics, the facility is now able to monitor power consumption in real time, enabling the organization to quickly identify issues and avoid overruns .

“In three months of commercial operation, the Qlik analytics platform has allowed us to streamline energy consumption planning, and the gaps between actual energy consumption rates and target rates have narrowed to less than one percent, ”said Mikhail Yaskevich, Acron’s chief engineer.

“We’re excited to help Acron implement a data-driven approach to running a manufacturing business. The deployment of Qlik has demonstrated the effectiveness of data analytics to refine business decisions and processes, ”said Alexey Artemenko, Regional Director, Qlik Russia and CIS.
